Why do plants have cell walls and not animal cells?

Answer:

Cell walls serve two main purposes: protection and the maintenance of turgor. Animal cells could use the protection offered by cell walls, but they do not need the extra water for growth or photosynthesis. Cell walls would also limit the muscle movements and general mobility of the animal cells.

im not reilly an expert of that, but I think it's because they are not the same reign. plants has evolved differently than animals. the plants works with photosynthesis and it makes sugar but the animals eat and reproduce not like plants
