Why do you think the colonists fought so hard against the Stamp Act? After all, they were British citizens and the British government was in need of tax money because they had just fought a major war in America that had benefitted the colonists.

Answer:

The colonist didnt like the fact that the had no representation when parliament passed the stamp act. it wasnt the fact that they were mad about having to pay more its that they had no representation so they coudnt disagree with the stamp act
