Answer:

width=11cm

length = 16cm

Explanation:

let the width of rectangle be x.

then length is x+5

perimeter=54

2(x+x+5)=54

2x+5=27

2x=22

x=11

width=11cm

length= x+5 = 16cm

Answer:

width = 11

length = 16

Explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (Length + Width)

Length = 5 + width

2 (5 + width + width) = 54

5 + width + width = 27

width + width = 22

width = 11

length = 16

Hope this helps :)

Have a nice day
