Hence the radius = diameter/2= 16/2= 8in.

Then,

Circumference of the circle = 2πr

C = 2×3.14×8

= 50.24 in

From the figure, the total length of the strapping will be;

L = ¼×C+2× radius of circle +2×1.10

= ¼×50.24+2×8+2×1.10

= 12.56+16+2.2

= 30.76 in.
