Answer: 2

If x is 2 and y is 4 we have

4(2) + 4 / 2(4) - 2

4 x 2 is 8

8 + 4 is 12

Now we have

12/ 2(4) - 2

2 x 4 is 8

8 - 2 is 6

So now we have

12/6 which can be simplified to 2

Answer:

2

Explanation:

Plug in the values for x and y into the expression and simplify:

numerator: 4(2) + 4 = 12

denominator: 2(4) - 2 = 6

dividing: 12/6=2
