So 1 gives a bigger answer when you add 1 to itself then when 1 is multiplied by itself

In the answer it is given that this is the only number for which this is correct, so there is not really a need to check for other options

but if you would want, you could just compute 2 till 9 and see that for example 2 + 2 = 4 and 2 *2 = 4, which are the same, so it is not a bigger number when added then when multiplied.
