5t^2 + 5t = 5t (t + 1).
If you take out a common factor of 5t from 5t^2 + 5t, you get
5t (t + 1).
To check this, distribute the 5t to the terms in the parentheses.
5t • t = 5t^2
5t • 1 = 5t
So, 5t^2 + 5t = 5t^2 + 5t
(which means it is equal!)
