or this case we have the folllowing:

Part a

e select (0,0) and (3,24)

the slope would be:


m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(24-0)/(3-0)=8

then the equation for this case would be:

y= 8x +b

Using (0,0) we can find b:

0 ) 8*0 +b

b= 0

Then the equation is:

y= 8x

Part b

or this case we can conclude that for each n8 passengers is required a new car for the rooller coaster
