Now I need help with math.

It looks easy for me to do but it’s confusing I can’t figure out what I have to do please help!!

The questions are in the picture. Number 1 and number 2 are already answered I just need to do 3, 4, 5, 6!

And if you can’t see the questions correctly they are under this text!!

3. [(3)/(4)x +(3)/(2) x=(9)/(4)]\\ \\ 4. [(8)/(3) r-(9)/(4) r=-(5)/(12)] \\ \\ 5. [r-(10)/(3) +(1)/(2) =-(11)/(6)]\\ \\ 6. [-(5)/(2) a+(4)/(3) +(2)/(3) =(13)/(4)]\\ \\

Answer:

3)
x = 1

4)
r = -1 (same way as 3)

5)
r = 1 (same way as 3)

6)
a = -(1)/(2) (same way as 3)

Explanation:

3) a) Combine multiplied terms into a single fraction.

(3x)/(4) + (3)/(2)x = (9)/(4)

b) Combine multiplied terms into a single fraction.

(3x)/(4) + (3x)/(2) = (9)/(4)

c) Find common denominator. (4)

SOLUTION: x = 1

Unifying the denominators we multiply the second term by the numerator and two by the denominator, and the denominator became the same in all terms and after that we added
