1 and 5 over 16

Explanation:

So for this equation, cross multiplication is the most suitable to answer it. So

1 and 3 over 4 = 24

x = 18

24x = 18 multiplied by 1 and 3 over 4

24x = 31.5 / 24

x = 1 and 5 over 16 cups of sugar
