Answer:

How to calculate the mean of a data set:

Sum of all the numbers in the data set / the no. of "ValuEs" in the data set

Therefore, we can solve and conclude that:

1) = 29+42+45+39+36+41+38+37+43+35+32+40 / 12

= 457 / 12

= 38.083 (38 to the nearest whole number)

___________________________________________________

2) = 19.90+24.45+34.65+26.50+44.05+38.95+56.40+48.75+29.30+35.65 / 10

= 35.86 (36 to the nearest whole number)
