Answer: y=(-3/4)x+3 or y = -0.75x+3

Explanation:

y-intercept: (0, 3)

x-intercept (4,0)

Slope-intercept Equation:
y=mx+b, where m = slope, b = y-intercept.

To find b:

1. Using the slope-intercept equation, use the y-intercept points to find b.
y=mx+b --> 3=m(0)+b
3=b

2. Replace b from the slope-intercept Equation with the b found above.
y=mx+3

3. Use the other point to find the slope, aka m.
y=mx+3 --> 0=m*4+3
-3=m*4
-3/4=m

4. Replace the m, the slope in the equation.

y=(-3/4)x+3
