  1. Fat is derived from animal while oil is from plant
  2. At room Temperature,fats are solid while oil is liquid
  3. Fats increases cholesterol level while oil improves cholesterol level
  4. Saturated and trans are types of fats while Unsaturated fats like monounsaturated and polyunsaturated are types of oil
