Explanation:

(2x-3)^2 + 2x^2+x-1

You do the square expression

= (2x-3)(2x-3) + 2x^2+x-1

Then you plus or subtract the same variables

= 4x^2 - 12x + 9 + 2x^2 + x - 1

= 6x^2 - 11x + 8
