2m(3m² + 4m + 6) box method and standard form I don’t get it

Answer:

6m³ + 8m² + 12m

Explanation:

With box, you would draw a box with dimensions 1 x 3. In the outer edge of the 1 side, you would put 2m. In the 3, you would put 3m², then 4m, then 6.

Multiply in the boxes and add total.

Then for standard, you would do

2m(3m² + 4m + 6) = 2m(3m²) + 2m(4m) + 2m(6) =

6m³ + 8m² + 12m
