x = 32

Explanation:

Since m||n and the angles formed are on the same transversal, the angles are corresponding angles i.e. their sum adds up to 180°

Using given data
2x - 16 + 4x + 4 = 180

==> 6x - 12 = 180

==> 6x = 180 + 12 (by adding 12 on both sides)

==> 6x = 192

x = 192/6

x = 32
