Factor 6x4 – 5x2 + 12x2 – 10 by grouping. What is the resulting expression?

(6x + 5)(x2 – 2)
(6x – 5)(x2 + 2)
(6x2 + 5)(x2 – 2)
(6x2 – 5)(x2 + 2)

Answer:

Explanation:

So we have 6x4-5x2+12x2-10

So we are going to add same elements

-5x2+12x2=7x2

so now we have

6x4 +7x2-10

Let u=x2

6u2+7u-10

Now we factor

(6u-5)(u+2)

Replace x2 for u

(6x2-5)(x2+2)

Hope this helps!^^

Answer:

(6x² - 5)(x² + 2)

Explanation:

6x⁴ - 5x² + 12x² - 10

(6x⁴ - 5x²) (12x² - 10)

x²(6x² - 5) + 2(6x² - 5)

(6x² - 5)(x² + 2)

I hope this helps!
