Do 5.8 and 5.08 have the same value? In a complete sentence, explain why or why not?

5.8 has no zero but 5.08 has one zero.

5.8 is more significant than 5.08 because when a 0 is added in the front, it makes the number smaller than before. The more zeros you put in front of the number, the smaller it will get.
