Jack: six and a quarter = 6 1/4
Sister: three and a half = 3 1/2
6 + 3 = 9 + 1/2 = 9.5 + 1/4 = 9.75 cakes altogether

She uses 10x the amount of flour, so will also use 10x the amount of eggs.
10 x 8 = 80 eggs
