Explain how one organism will compete for biotic and abiotic factors. Give at least 2 biotic and 2 abiotic factors that the 1 organism will compete for.

Take an eagle as our example. Remember that Biotic factors are living things within an ecosystem; such as plants, animals, and bacteria, while abiotic are non-living components; such as water, soil and atmosphere.

Eagles prey primarly on, birds and mammals, which are both biotic things.

They need abiotic components, such as water, climate, atmosphere too.

Competition can occur between TWO or more of the same species, or different species. Wether it's for food, territory, or mating.
