Simplifying
24x + -17x = 13x + -15

Combine like terms: 24x + -17x = 7x
7x = 13x + -15

Reorder the terms:
7x = -15 + 13x

Solving
7x = -15 + 13x

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Add '-13x' to each side of the equation.
7x + -13x = -15 + 13x + -13x

Combine like terms: 7x + -13x = -6x
-6x = -15 + 13x + -13x

Combine like terms: 13x + -13x = 0
-6x = -15 + 0
-6x = -15

Divide each side by '-6'.
x = 2.5

Simplifying
x = 2.5

Given :-

24x - 17 x ≥ 13x +15

Solving it,

(24 - 17)x \geqslant 13x + 15

= > 7x \geqslant 13x + 15

= > 7x - 13x \geqslant 15

= > (7 - 13) x \geqslant 15

= > - 6x \geqslant 15

= > x \leqslant - (15)/(6)

By reducing to lowest terms, we get,

x \leqslant - (5)/(2)

So, Value of x is
- (5)/(2)
