Choose any pair of negative numbers and carry out multiplication with those numbers

Let’s take the integers -7 and -4.

By multiplying, we will find that:

-7 • -4 = 28

The two negative numbers, as informed in the multiplication rules, will always equal out to a positive integer. With that in mind, we can continue solving out the problem like a normal multiplication problem. This would look like:

7 • 4 = 28
