Two angles are Complementary. If the measure of one of the angles is 58.0 degrees, what is the measure of the other angle? Answer to the first decimal place, IE 79.5.

Answer: x = 32.0°

Explanation:

When the sum of two angles is equal to 90 degrees, they are called complementary angles.

x + 58° = 90°

x = 90° - 58°

x = 32.0°
