A ball is dropped from rest and takes 1.3 s to hit the ground. from what height was it dropped?

Initial velocity=0

Height=45m

G=10m/s^2

By the 2 nd equation of motion …(Under free fall)-

H = ut + 1/2 g t^2

45 = 0 + {1/2 * 10 * (t^2)} •: [0*t=0]

45 = 5 t^2

45/5 = t^2

9 = t^2

√9=t

3=t

Answer-: The time taken would be 1.3 seconds to reach the ground.
