6400/8=800, this leaves 800g of sugar per person.
800*10= 8000
So this family is entitled to 8000g of sugar

Answer:

Hey There!

Let's solve...

We need to find out the quantity of sugar of 1 person first...

So

6400g = 8 \: people \\ \\ \therefore \: 1 \: people = (6400)/(8) \\ \\ simplify \\ \\ \frac{ \cancel{6400 }^(800) }{ \cancel{8}} \\ \\ = 800g \: or \: 0.8kg

Now let's find out sugar for 10 people

= 800 * 10 = 8000g \: or \: 8kg

I hope it is helpful to you..

Cheers!_________
