  1. 3((2)/(3) )=(-12)3

2. cross out the 3 from
3((2)/(3) ) and you will get 2 and then do -12 x 3 and you will get -36.

3. you now have 2n=-36

4. divide both sides by 2 to isolate n by itself.


(2n)/(2) =(-36)/(2)

5. divide by crossing out 2 and 2 on the right and then do -36 ÷ 2 which will give you n= -18
