I'll never forget the first time that I stepped on the field in my brand new cleats and shin
guards. When I found out that my older sister was being signed up to play in the local
community soccer league, I begged my parents to sign me up because I wanted to do
everything that my big sister was doing. My sister only played for one season before moving
on to a different activity, but once I kicked the ball, I was hooked; playing soccer has made me
the person that I am today.
