At maximum height final velocity of the voleyball will be 0 . So ,

Final velocity= 0m/s

Acceleration due to gravity = -10m/s² (taking upward direction as +ve ) .

On using third equation of motion ,

=> 2as = v² - u²

=> 2*10*s = 0² -(23)²

=> s = 23*23/20

=> s = 26.45 m

Hence the maximum height attained by the ball is 26.45m
