I think this question is asking how much would each person leave for the tip and the bill. The tip is calculated by the total bill. I would start with calculating $108.12 x 0.20 = $21.62. Add that to your bill and you get a grand total of $129.74. Divide that by 6 and you get $21.62 per person.

Look what I did was $108.12 divided evenly among 6 friends = $18.02
Then I multiplied $18.02 to 20% and got $3.604 which is $3.60 when rounded up.

Meaning each person left $3.60
