It’s (4,5) because the slope is 1/1 meaning up one and right one. So when you graph up one and right one you get (4,5)
To get the slope from y=x+1 you always look at what’s in front of x
In this case it’s just x so there’s an imaginary 1 in front of it and for a slope it’s rise over run so it’s 1/1

Basically, if you plug in the x coordinate and add one, you will get the y coordinate.

This question is asking what the y coordinate would be if x is equal to 4

y=x+1

y=4+1
