y > -12x + 9

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b where m is slope and b is the y intercept. Since this equation is an inequality, we will use the > instead of =.

We have to subtract 12x from both sides to get it on the opposite side as the y.

12x + y -12x > 9 - 12x

This leaves us with y > 9 - 12x

Then we rearrange the terms on the right side to get it in y > mx + b form leaving us with the following:

y > -12x + 9
