4 times a number "q" = 4q

"Plus 25" +25

Putting these two parts together


\sf{4q+25}

Now, we can't evaluate this expression (like we're asked) unless we know what q is. And it happened that we are given what q is, it's 2. So, we can substitute its value into the expression:


\sf{4(2)+25}


\sf{8+25}


\sf{33}
