For figure one, you first need to find the base, which will be 7 x 6. Take that number, 42, and multiply it by the height, 1. The volume of figure 1 is 42.

For figure two, you first need to find the base, which will be 7 x 3. Take that number, 21, and multiply it by the height, 4. The volume of figure 2 is 84.

Add the volumes of these two figures. 42 + 84 is 126. The volume of the figure is 126.
