Answer:

Gerald worked 47 hours last week.

Explanation:

If Gerald was making $16 for the first 35 hours, that is $560. If he is making 1.5x his regular wage for any overtime, thats $24. 24x12 =288. 288+560 = $848. and 35+12=47 hours
