Rachel’s age is x.
Her brother’s age is y.
x=2y-4=8-y
Solving this results in (x,y)=(4,4), which are coordinates.
These coordinated mean x (Rachel’s age) is 4, and y (her brother’s age) is also 4.
=Rachel’s brother is 4.
