Prove that: 1-sin^2x cos*2x/cos^2x = tan^2x + cos^2x-example-1

LHS = (1-sin² cos²)/(cos²)

= (sin² + cos² - sin² cos²)/(cos²)

= (sin/cos)² + 1 - sin²

= tan² + cos²

= RHS
