Explanation:


2logx=log64\\logx^2=log64

now that both sides has log, you can remove them and leave it as:


x^(2) =64\\

take the square root of both sides:


x = [8, -8]\\x = 8

logarithmic equations can't have negative solutions, plus -8 isn't an option
