A farm has 2000 acres. If 3/5 of this was used for crops and 3/4 of the remainder was used for grazing, how many acres were left?

Answer:

7 1/2 acres = 15 / 2 acres and a third of this is 5/2 or 2.5 acres for grazing animals.7 1/2 acres = 15 / 2 acres and a fifth of this is 3/2 or 1.5 acres for growing vegetables.
