The kindest thing that anyone has ever done for me is to tell me that I am smart. Even though I call myself these negative names, I realize that I am smart in some ways and that I can be successful at a lot of things I try.

When someone took the time to tell me that I was smart and good and kind and intelligent, and that I should not use negative words to describe myself, I realized that I need to change how I talk about myself.

Today at school, I am going to be kind to those people that feel like they do not belong and that they might not be as smart as others. I am going to make them feel good and I am going to use positive words to help them. I can also do this in my neighborhood and at my home.
