\sqrt[3]{x + 1} = 2

Let us cube both sides.

= > (\sqrt[3]{x + 1} ) ^(3) = {2}^(3)

Now, it will be only x + 1.

= > x + 1 = 8

Transpose 1 to the Right Hand Side.

= > x = 8 - 1

Now, subtract.

= > x = 7

Answer:

x = 7

Hope you could understand.
