Answer:

12.566 m or 1,256.6 cm

Explanation:

Find the circumference of both circles and subtract the circumference of the smaller circle from the larger circle.

C = 2πr or πd

C (larger) = 2(2+9)π or 22π

C (smaller) = 2(9)π or 18π

Difference = 4π or 4(3.1415) which equals 12.566

9-2 = 7for radius of inner circle
2•3.1415•7 = 43.981
56.547 - 43.981 = 12.566
rounded to the nearest hundredth is 12.57
