According to triangle angle sum theorem, the interior angles of any triangle adds up to 180 degrees.

You can use this information to find the missing angles.

Start with the triangle on the right and simply do 180 - 24 - 52 = 104

This is the missing angle Y.

The other side of the angle Y is the same because vertical angles (that cross) are the same so it is also 104 degrees.

Now, to find angle V, repeat the triangle sum theorem like so:

180 - 104 -18 and you should get 58 as your answer.

V=58 degrees.
