A paper airplane was thrown from the top of a tall building. The height of the paper airplane above the ground can be found using the function y=-1.5x+60 where x is the time in seconds the airplane has been in the air. How many seconds did it take to reach the ground

Answer:The answer is 40 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation: You can find this out by seeing it starts 60 feet in the air. For every second it travles 1.5 units down.

60 feet /1.5 feet per second =40 seconds till it hits the ground.
