When writing an email or letter, if you know the name of the person to whom you are writing you should

be respectful and specific any time you refer to that person.

explain to your readers who the person is, in case they do not know.

refer to that person by first name to make your letter sound personal.

use the person's name at least three times in your letter.

Answer:

Be respectful and specific any time you refer to that person.

Even if you are writing to multiple people, or just one person, you need to be specific when referring to said person as well as always being respectful.
