Hello ppl!:) Does anyone know the answer to these 2 questions?

What are the similarities between the United States government and democracy in Athens?

Which city-state would you prefer to live in and why? Give at least 3 reasons to support your answer.

If you know even at least a answer to one of them it would mean a lot! <3

1. A similarity between the US and Athens is that they are both democracies. In both governments, men were allowed to vote. Since there were different types of decisions in Greece at the time, it made it more complicated and required a bigger group of people.

2.

- I would prefer to live in Sparta. The Spartans army was stronger, and that would make me feel more protected. Next, the girls were able to get an education instead of just boys and overall had more freedom.

- I would prefer to live in Athens. The Athenians had a more modern and open view of things. For one, boys weren't forced to fight in the army. Next, they could have a wider education and could pursue multiple types of arts and sciences.

- I did both because they're mainly based off of gender, you don't have to rewrite questions 2's answers but you do with question 1 :) hope this helps!

1- Athenian democracy is similar to modern democracies in that it grants a broad portion of the public a say in governance.

2- Tokyo, Japan because I love the language Japanese, anime, and their culture is so cool and nice.
