this is a pythagorean theorem problem therefore a^2+b^2=c^2
a=8, b=?, c=10
8^2+b^2=10^2
64+b^2=100
100-64=56
square root of b^2=square root of 56
b=2 rad14
2 rad14 +4=
2 (rad14 + 1)= ANSWER
