Suppose you can factor x^2 + bx + c as (x + p)(x + q). If c > 0, what could be possible values of p and q?

a. p = 5, q = -8
b. p = -2, q = 6
c. p = -4, q = -7
d. p = -13, q = 1

p could be 5 and q could be 8 this is just my guess but i think its right

p = - 4, q = -7, or in other words with the given choices above, option C. I hope this helps : ) I was working on this assignment earlier; this was a tough question, but I figured it out. If this is the same assignment I am thinking of, it should be alright. :D
