Answer:

load (l) =?

LOAD ARM = 20 CM

EFFORT ( E)= 800N

EFFORT ARM = 80cm

load *load arm = effort *effort arm

l*20 cm = 800 *80

L = 64000/20

answer = 3200

Explanation:

Solution,

Effort=800N

Effort arm=80 cm

Load arm=20 cm

Load=?

Now,

by the principle of lever, we have

  • Load×Load arm=Effot×Effort arm
  • Load×20=800×80
  • Load=800×80/20
  • Load=3200 N

So, the load of 3200N can be lifted .
