The baglung district is among the 11 districts of province number 4. Baglung has medium level of human development . The famous kali Gandaki river Mark's the eastern border of the district. It has 59 village development committees and one municipality. Banglung is the rich in herbal medicinal plants. Highest temperatures at the lowest elevations of banglung rises up to about 37.5 degree Celsius in summer and the lowest temperatures at dhorpatan falls up to about 15 degree Celsius in winter.
