c = 7.248 or 7.2

Explanation:

Cosine =
(adjacent)/(hypothenuse)

Cos 25 =
(8)/(c)

Cos of 25 is 0.906

0.906 =
(8)/(c)

Multiply 8 on both sides:

0.906 x 8 =
(8)/(c) x 8

7.248 = c

Here

cos25°=BC/AB=8/c

c=8/cos25°

so cos function is helpful here
